Chardonnay
Orzaia’s Chardonnay is an elegant and luminous white wine that authentically expresses the character of the Grave del Friuli region. The grapes, harvested in early September, come from vineyards planted on medium-textured soils rich in gravel, which give the wine its distinctive mineral imprint. After a gentle pressing, the must ferments in stainless steel at controlled temperatures for about a week. The wine then continues to age in steel tanks, preserving the freshness and pure varietal expression of the grape. The color is a bright straw yellow.
On the nose, it offers a fine and precise bouquet: apple, pear, delicate hints of chamomile, and a subtle touch of almond that adds depth. On the palate, it stands out for its balance between acidity, savoriness, and a light yet structured body.
Fresh, dynamic, and persistent. Serving temperature: 12°C. A clean, versatile, contemporary wine.
