Character and Depth
Metodo classico
This Orzaia Metodo Classico, made from 100% Chardonnay grapes, is a sparkling wine that combines technical precision with strong personality. Harvested between late August and early September, the grapes are vinified in white with fermentation in stainless steel at controlled temperatures to preserve freshness and aromatic integrity.
The second fermentation takes place in the bottle, following the traditional method, with 18 months of aging on the lees to develop structure and complexity. In the glass, it shows a bright straw yellow color. On the nose, it is broad and refined, with notes of golden apple, citrus, bread crust, yeast, and a touch of elegant minerality.
On the palate, it is fresh and taut, with fine, creamy bubbles. Its pronounced acidity and savory edge give it energy and drive, while the finish is long and vibrant. A sparkling wine crafted for true connoisseurs, best enjoyed at 8°C to fully appreciate its balance and depth.
